The lot for Alexan Highland Mill (Caldwell/Parkwood and Belmont) has been cleared, site work looks like it will begin shortly.
I also noticed site work for CCH Highland Mill townhouses while I was inhaling my Brooks burger.
I was just driving by this lot today at Parkwood and Belmont, wondering what was going on. Are the details of this project posted yet? Did a search in this forum and google with no results.

Does anyone know what is going on at the corner of Parkwood and 18th?

You can check out the inside of the units in today's agenda. What beautiful vinyl cabinets and vinyl faux wood flooring for just $1,500 a month. What kind of counter tops are those? Quartz? It will be interesting to see how these materials hold up to a couple rounds of tenants.

The cabinets are Acrylic, which isn't cheap! Although they may not hold up well after multiple tenants - will be interesting to see.

To my eyes at least, the building seems to be sticking closely to the renderings. The renderings show the opacity of the screening and you can distinctly see the concrete levels of the garage. I'm going to hold off until it's all done and hope it all pulls together. It is definitely something architecturally different for Charlotte to say the least!

Neat detail at the Old Concord Rd. Bridge
JW Clay Station makes this area feel less suburban in person.
Not sure what this will be, but this was parked in the median across from the JW Clay garage. Maybe it's the bridge between the garage and stairs?
Retail spots in the bottom of the JW Clay garage?
The bridge over Harris and Tryon is very long in person. It has about three large sections (two pictured), all which have this slight arch unlike the other bridges throughout the project.
Bridge over Craighead- The "S"curve is more apparent when you drive under it. Notice the positioning of the horizontal beams in relation to the columns.

I thought for a minute this was taking 101's place; no more karaoke! I never liked Dolce Vita anyway. Glad to be getting more options soon!

The second tower is starting to pop up over the surrounding buildings - should go up quickly like the first.
