I agree we need more highrises but that particular building is an eyesore and is beyond help. I know they were getting bids to demo it a few months ago just haven't heard anything lately. The drawings of The Savannah River Landing looks like it is really going to enhance the Savannah skyline though.

Does anyone know the date when the Stubbs Towers highrise at Anderson & Truman Parkway is going to be torn down?

Yea, I want to find out more about this potential development by Dr. Evans. It seems like a huge deal. I also think they are going to restore the old squares where the civic center is after Ellis is complete. I can see it happening. In 5 years I think downtown Savannah is going to be one of the most talked about places in the south. I can't wait to watch it happen.

I have a question about potential new developments. Is it just talk or is really in the works for the restoration of the squares where the civic center is? Also does anyone know if the development on MLK that is being proposed by Dr. Evans is going to happen anytime soon? I have read like 3 city blocks of development south of the I-16 exchange is planned by him. Is this a reality?

I'm new to this site. That first picture is beautiful. I walked by the Ellis Square project today. It looks like it is really moving along. About 4 levels of parking deck is built in part of the crater. This development is going to be incredible.
