The statler lot is much narrower and maybe 2/3 the size of Compuware.

Personally, I feel sorry for you Zach. I mean, the main city in the region you live in and you have never ever been there. That is dumb. It's just dumb. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE show them a good time if you ever bring them down to Detroit. And don't go off the beaten path because then they will get a bad impression of Detroit. Just start in New Center and go through Midtown and Downtown and visit the riverfront and Belle Isle. Once they are comfortable with those areas, you can bring them down again and take some more adventures.

I still can't believe this will be your first time. It is amazing that you live in Canton and have never been to Detroit. HORRIBLE! Have you ever even drove through it, or has your family avoided it all together? How did you get it by your parents?

Nice Photo! I can't wait to compare that picture to a picture say 5 years down the road and see how much has changed. @twater Lofts, and the other projects will be a huge boost to the East Riverfront. What is everyones thoughts on the Uniroyal Site..... High-rises to add the the "Gold Coast," or put in some project with building the size of Atwater Lofts? In my opinion I think it would be nice to have some highrises on the Uniroyal Site because it would look awesome with some highrises behind Belle Isle. It would also add a boost to that side of town and maybe add some more highrises.

I took this photo while walking down Jefferson Avenue during the Superbowl weekend on Saturday to Cobo. The weekend and Detroit was amazing! I hope you like my picture! BTW, a quick fun fact for the day, it has been roughly 477 days since this thread was started! LOL! That was fun.....

Every single one of these projects is leading Detroit closer to becoming what it once was. Im not saying we will ever have 2 million people again. I am just saying it at a world class city standpoint.

How fast did they build this? It seems like it was just announced. It is a very nice project and they put it away from the street at a right distance. Not to close. Not to far away. Also it has a very nice design. I am impressed. How many more of these units are to be built?
