I work for GVSU, although not in a way associated with the library or funding for new buildings. The last rumor I heard was that they have the funding for the new library but they need to work out some details in the blueprints. It's just a rumor so take it with a grain of salt; it could easily be wrong.

Seidman uses a lot of the office space in DeVos Center. When they move out, GVSU could expand existing Pew campus departments or move entire departments from Allendale to GR.

I work at GVSU. I take the bus to work and walk by the one by Kirkhof every morning and at 5 when I leave. It seems to get a good amount of use. I think there was at least one bike on it every time I walked by it this week.
