Wow, nice forum. I'm new here, just signed up but have lurked for a little while, figured I could contribute a little! I was born and raised in Traverse City. I lived at 11th and Cass for a few years and at 8th and Rose up until recently when my wife and I moved to Chicago. Traverse City is a great town. Its safe, clean, beautiful, and pretty affordable. Many fond memories there. Unfortunately, my job was going nowhere and we decided to look at moving elswhere. We wanted a more urban lifestyle, with easy access to transit, culture, job opportunities, etc, things that living in a big city offer. So here we are, living in a 1920's courtyard building in Rogers Park. So far, we love it. Chicago is also a great town. We visit TC often, as we have alot of friends and family there. In fact, we will be there next week for 4 days. Cant wait to go snowmobiling! Traverse City will always be home. Anyway, great forum.
