My wife did all of her Xmas shopping in one day in NYC while there on a business trip. Here's a pic she snapped for me in SoHo. The number of pedestrians in that city is really astonishing to me each and every time I go there. There's not any other city like it in the US.
BTW, the shop with the rat on the sign is called "Yellow Rat beotch". I was intrigued and looked it up. Turns out the place is a modern day retail sweat shop and the owner was arrested for underpaying immigrant employees. It also has rats!
