Thanks guys. I have a nikon d50 with a 18-200mm lens. I shot them in raw format and then tonemapped them in photomatix...then a little post work in paint shop pro.

Thanks. I really like your nashville pics. I have the D50 with the kit nikkor 18-55 lens, so i was using that for a little while. I just got the VR Nikkor 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G and i really like it so far. I wanted one lens that i could use all the time, and the 18-200 can cover a lot. Only other equipment i have is a tripod and circular polarizer.

Got a new lens on Friday, so i went downtown on sat to test it out. Captured a pretty sweet sunset.

Yeah thats pretty much where i went. I was suprised though because i saw a bunch of no trespassing signs, and i had to park my car in a pretty shady location and walk down to the river. It seems like such a nice spot would have easier access or some kind of park or viewing area...it would be a great place to watch the fireworks on july 4. Heres a couple other shots.

Thanks guys! That really is a nice spot to view the city, i will have to go back there to get a sunrise shot as well!

Heres a pano of the city from across the river. It took me forever to find the roads to get to this place! It was worth it though.

Thanks. The camera is a D50 with the kit lens 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor. I corrected the verticals in post, also some color adjustments. I used 15-30sec exposures on these night shots.

Thanks! Not a pro, a beginner actually for a few months now. I work with Gaushell at Paradigm Productions, so i think being a 3d arch illustrator helps me with my photos.
