  1. I dont really know where to put this, but does anyone know what is gonna be going on the old Beck Academy site? Drove by today during lunch and it looks like a lot more than just the typical demolition. There is a nice size square hole that looks like the making of some sort of foundation, havent heard of anything going on this site, just curious.

  2. They have a plant here in Simpsonville or Ft. Inn, not reallly sure on the address. Its located off of Harrison Bridge Rd. and 385 behind the Grainger warehouse. When I first moved to SC. I got a job there as a temp assembling diesel engines. Its been well over 2 years and when I was there they were talking about bringing more work to the plant.

  3. I too was down town this evening, and seen many people taking pics. But no, not me, my fiance promised me we would be done looking at rings in enough time so I could snap some pics of the McBee job site for work. But that didnt happen. :( So. if anyone knows of a good jeweler or wholesaler let me know.

  4. Welcome, Tony (BigTone)! Great to have you on board and along for the ride! :D

How long have you lived in the Upstate? I am actually surprised and disappointed to hear that you've had trouble making friends with the locals. :( What would you say is responsible for this? I have made quite a few friends playing golf in the area, so that is one method to consider - if you don't take the game too seriously, of course. ;)

Just wanted to say what a great site this is and what a beautiful city Greenville is. When I first visited my fiance here after we graduated from college I knew where I was headed to next. 4 months later I was packed in a u-haul heading to Greenville. Since my girlfriend and I are both transplants, if anyone knows of anything going on let me know. I find it really hard to make friends in the area. Seems like most people are high school friends and dont stray from that pack.
