Finally Some Mediocre Pictures

According to our beloved local newspaper... AMC Entertainment Inc. is the operator of the new 12-screen theater in downtown Orlando, company officials and developer Cameron Kuhn confirmed today for the Orlando Sentinel.

We're hearing this AM that the deal is at last done, that there is to be an AMC in downtown O-Town. Nothing on developer Cameron Kuhn's site. No "official announcement." Remember, he had a countdown clock for that theater to open Labor Day weekend. Didn't happen. Nothing on AMC's site hinting at hiring, for instance, for a new Orlando theater. They pretty much denied this was the sort of deal they made (they prefer stand-alone big box cinemas) last time I chatted with them.

The Vue here in Orlando is just wrapping up. I hope Turner isn't building this one as well. You guys have a MUCH nicer design but it took almost two years just to build a less detailed 36 story version here. Be prepared for the long haul.

Out of all the things to keep in line with the final renderings they chose the furniture. Its the exact color and design as everything in the renderings. Good Ol' RTP I Miss It Used To Live In Raliegh.

The Light Strip On The Side Was Changing Colors Tonight. Drove By Quickly But Managed To Spot Of Course The Blue, Red And Green As Well As White And Purple.

I think I see paint going in on the Church St. side or at least sometime of primer.

Looks like they finally cleaned it. The glass is just a beautiful tint.

My First Photo Post Attempt.

They have the lights on in the townhouses and it shows this building was clearly designed to be seen at night. I think lots of the Vue Haters might change their mind when this thing is finished and lit up at night. They also raised the black tarps on the railing so you can't see into the lobby as well as you could.

Solaire is totally bland but dissimilar to anything we have, every detail or lack there of can be seen from a distance with the exception of the tile work leading into the entrance. However I consider The Vue a reverse Monet. It from what I can see really looks like 4 triangles blended into a single rectangle. It also has really nice details at a street level and something def. has to be said about the color of glass. Just beautiful in my opinion. I, yes am a fan of this building and love its style and little things that make it unique. However I do loathe 111 N. Orange.

Yeah just drove by. It looks great. This thing will be up and running in about two months I think. Maybe three. Think about all the high-rises coming on in the next year. The Vue The Plaza The Paramount Dynetech Centre Star Tower 101 Eola Huge amount of growth. MMMMM.

Didn't you mother ever teach you to think before you type. Its not expensive at all it's a really nice euro styled affordable clothing store. Often have jeans that look designer that cost about $40 dollars. Check out their website. Its like the Ikea of clothes they just don't fall apart after five washes.

Is it me or has this thing really slowed down vertically. Im going to make a prediction of March for this thing as long as no Vue like problems happen.

They have started to paint it white but other than that this thing is slowly becoming a joke. Just peeling the blue siding of the windows would help out SO much.
