Levine is purchasing the Hal Marshall land (12 acres) for $32,250,000. More land to do nothing on. The other bids given to the County were for $32M and $31M, and both of those groups planned on actually developing the land. The County is actually going to lose money on this deal when you enter in the lost property and any sales taxes. Very sad day for Charlotte in my opinion.
