I'll do my best with them but at least there are more of us (Ricans) around so we are gonna give this site an update haha. BTW yeah its been ages since I last saw u here!! Ocean Walk - 47 stories. A mixed-use development (commercial, residential and hotel) including 1000 parking spaces. Proposed site @ McLeary Ave. in the Ocean Park sector of San Juan. Permits for the construction of this building are almost complete. Ashford & Earle - 35 stories. Another mixed use development. Proposed site between Ashford Ave. and Earle St. in the Condado sector of San Juan. Permits approval almost complete. Pearle @ Condado - 37 stories. Condominium with only 72 apartments. Proposed site @ Ashford Ave between the Atlatinc Ocean and the Condado Lagoon in the Condado sector of San Juan. Detail of the top of the building. AquaCity Complex - Mixed-use development consisting of four towers of 30, 31, 31 and 33 stories. Location Golden Mile District (San Juan's CBD) AquaBlue - two residential towers of 31 stories. Currently under construction. AquaLuna - Phase 2 of the project consisting of a 33-story commercial/residential tower and a 30-story hotel. AquaBlue with AquaLuna Entire AquaCity Complex Diagram Quantum Metrocenter - Another mixed-use development currently under construction consisting of two 26 stories residential towers and a third tower 9commercial/hotel) already approved called Q Tower. Its height is a secret. The only info available is that the tower is going to be the tallest building in the Hato Rey sector of San Juan (CBD)

I was checking out D-Man's page and the San Juan Expo Center caught my attention. If they build it, it seems there's another big building (maybe 40 or 50 stories) coming to town. At least thats what looks like in the drawing of the proyect. San Juan's skyline is going to change in the next years. Finally people are thinking that we aren't a continent and that space to build is getting limited. Another project I liked is the Quantum Metrocenter. Would like to know how tall Q-Tower will be. The only info in the article is that is going to be Hato Rey's tallest building.

I've been living in Mayaguez during four years because Im a student at UPRM but I used to live in Camuy (a couple of minutes west of Arecibo, for those who dont know about) and well... been in both places for such a long time I could say Mayaguez is by far more developed than Arecibo, downtown or anywhere else inside the municipality. The only advantage Arecibo has is that you can get to it using Highway 2 or expressway 22 but in terms of commercial, residential and industrial development, Mayaguez is way ahead. Although in population both are similar, Mayaguez urban area is larger and more developed maybe because there are more and larger universities than in Arecibo. Also I have to mention that nearby towns such Hatillo, Barceloneta and Manati have been growing faster than Arecibo itself in the last decade moving out developments to the respective towns. ...and about Altobello yeah you are right, it hasn't started yet but is a new project going on in Mayaguez so I mentioned it. Can anyone look out for info for a new building going to Hato Rey called Kalaf 33. Right now Puerto Rico's Department of Education HQ is located in the site but they will add a new 30 stories residential and commercial tower and will "upgrade" the existing building, but since I don't know how to post pics in the forum I can't post the article. BTW I live in Mayaguez and yes among PR's big cities in one of the less developed (Although Arecibo is behind by far) but I hope that is gonna change soon because of the Central American and Caribbean Games in 2010. They are planning to build new hotels, sports facilities, highways, new commercial areas and are planning to develop Mayaguez Port so cruises can visit the city. Changing the topic I have pictures of Mayaguez Skyline but since I don't know how to post them I'll see how I manage to show them to you. Among construction projects in Mayaguez there's Altobello, a 17 stories residential building located near Grande Shopping Center. As soon as I find out how to post pics I'll post them.
