Maumelle is getting a Starbucks next to Bank of the Ozarks. There is also suposed to be a huge new Kroger coming to town. Something like 80,000 sq. ft. And one of only 2 or 3 others like it in the U.S. (with the sale of soft goods). However, it's hitting somewhat of a road block because the citzens action group wants there to be an overlay district for what's intended to be the town center. So the acreage won't have a mish mashed stripmall feel.
