Hello Hartford,
My wife and I have been thinking of moving back east from our home in downtown Sacramento, CA. We have been looking at cities that we think we can afford and that have a good urban life. We now live in a wonderfull walking community, lots of shops restaurants, groceries and business within a mile walk of home. (Can you belive it, even in California)
Hartford is one of the towns we have been looking at. Actually, we are looking at Manchester. We now live in a large home that we share with roomates in a co-op type living situation. We own the home, rent out 6 bedrooms and share several thousand square feet of common space. Our roomates have been mostly professional types, although we are multi generational. we often find folks in their 30's seem to want to rent from us.
We would like to do the same thing if we move back to the hartford area. How do you folks think this would work in Hartford?
Anyway, would like to hear from you all.
