  1. Isn't there supposed to be another development off of Wallace Lake Rd. called St. Andrew's or something? I remember reading about it a year or so ago.
  2. Gotta put St. Charles Place on that list. It's not too shabby, either.
  3. +1. Hey, imaterd, errr, imaterry, worry about your own city, and keep your ignorant comments to yourself.
  4. Stan's Records? Man, you've been away for awhile. That chain faded away...probably 15-20 years ago.
  5. Seems like Cantina Laredo will be a nice little place to eat and socialize. From what i gathered, it sounds like they prepare your food right in front (ala Shogun's). Can't wait to try it out...
  6. Man, if i had the jack (powerball-type jack), i would build a riverfront baseball park for a AA minor-league team... and couple that with an amusment park and an upscale riverfront shopping district w/ restaurants to boot. could you imagine the synergy of that thing? Kids, sports, shopping, and dining... anyone down?
  7. Just to add a little bit to your last point SBC, there could potentially could be two more legitimate areas of development that haven't been discussed. Initially, the area b/w Fern Ave. and E. 70th was originally looked at by Kohl's before they finalized their Youree Dr. location. I believe that area is about to be "un-landlocked" with the Sand Beach Dr. extension from Youree. Also, the area south of Flournoy Lucas is ripe with undeveloped land towards the Port of Shreveport. With the expansion of 3132 towards the port, you may very well see that area explode with activity.
  8. Speaking of Kohl's Shreveport, do any of you have any insight on what that project may encompass (ie, what other stores/restaurants are in the mix for development)? Additionally, with that being the last parcel of land in that area, where would be the next BIG development area in Shreveport?
