Detroit's Dime Building

The Dime Building was originally home to the Dime Savings bank. It is one of Detroit's most beautiful historic skyscrapers. It was recently renovated and restored, a process which ended last year.

WOW that's a awsome looking building I love the skylights

Thankfully they renovated it. It would have been a great loss for American architecture if it had been torn down.

Luckily it didn't get torn down...the building was on the tear-down list, although I doubt it was very high on the list. I'm just glad it was saved, b/c it's a great building.
