Inside this magnificent government architecture... citizens appear as dwarfs... maybe that was the intention? No matter, your photo is magificent, too. Again, a monochromatic study in whites, with just enough dark, to serve as contrast. Lovely contrast of the cool daylight and the warm lights, and the sublime, warm glow at the top.

Great photo, every person's mini portrait tells a story --- and that Clipper-thing. Can't believe cash strapped MUNI removed all the freshly installed Trans-link machines, from every street car and station, just to replace them with Clipper, which does the same thing --- just to change the logo. At least my Translink cards work with Clipper. Well, I tried it today, it seems to work well, can load your monthly pass on the computer chip of the Clipper card, or pay as you go, like a debit card, without worrying about change --- and can use it on BART, Ferry, Oakland transit --- have you tried it Zahc?

NORTHBEACH_OLDTHEATRE.jpg

I think that's the old movie theater on Columbus Ave in North Beach, where Jane Greer and Robert Mitchum in "Out Of The Past" stole some private moments while hiding from her gangster boss lover whom she had unsuccessfully tried to kill, and successfully releaved of $ 40 000.00. The quintessential film noir, and wonderful composition here, too, featuring my favorite singer, Billie Holiday.
