The sixth photo in your Rockefeller Center series is breathtaking, majestic. I can see how the architects of our Embarcadero Center in San Francisco were more than inspired by this original classic, of which our building complex is but a pale imitation. And that's coming from me, who likes the Embarcadero Center's skyscraper.

Wow, you're in Manhattan! Photo 2 is stunning, with its abstract pattern of buildings in muted colors. No 5 really shows that New York City is really the mother of them all. No 12 is fantastic - I love how the tall buildings that fill out most of the image, create three dimensional space, and then, in the upper left edge there's the busiest, almost 2D pattern of totally dwarfed skyscrapers.

Those skyscrapers look unreal. As if you made them up :) Seriously, stunning photos! I'm speechless. Chicago has the top architecture, it seems. I also REALLY like the third to the last photo, with the rocks underwater. Really nice, evocative composition. And it's funny to see - in the photo before the last - as roam Stow Lake in Golden Gate Park, close by where I live.

Keep bringing on those photos from your fantastic trip!

No 7 is such an elegant, simple composition of lines and areas. Is the grey wall attached to the skyscraper?

No 11 wonderful converging highrises, they're almost grown together. Didn't know it was legal to build them so close together...

No 13 is gorgeous, too, the tall pink building embedded in the dark neighbour buildings

Where to begin... well, No 1 is lovely, the line of beautiful modern highrises almost look like they're waiting... maybe keeping guard over the land upn which they stand. Love that melancholy feeling that the empty walkway of No. 4 evokes. No 6 is such really nice photo... the BIG little tower in the water and the LITTLE tall buildings in the background. No 7 says something very similar... the piers mirror the buildings beyond the water. No 9 is a really wonderful composition of abstract patterns, horizontal, diagonal and vertical lines, and even dots (at right). The last photo is the best. Again, the small tower in the water mimicks the distant highrises. It even stands in line with them, inspite of the distance between them. Also, it looks as if the tower started out as a small metal shack, and decided to become a highriser like its big brothers on land. The parellel lines of the elevated freeway and the line of the pier is really beautiful, two.

Great photos! It's really interesting, there is much more sexual tension in the air in the Church and 14th Streets photos, than in the following Showdog photos in downtown, where people are a bit more... relaxed. You really caught that well. I especially like the photo before the last, with the two guys looking out the window.

That's funny, I just came back to edit, and saw that that photo is your own favorite, too.

I wanted to add that the photo with the yellow and orange umbrellas in the LA series at the beginning of that post is really lovely. I only really saw it when I followed the link to your gallery, and then clicked on the umbrella photo. I love the bits of hot pink peeking out, the lady's blouse and the flowers in the back. Really, really nice composition.
