Police standoff last night?

On my way out last night I noticed that every cross street off of Fulton and Fuller was blocked by a squad car with its lights on, and news vans were pouring into the blocked-off neighborhood. I've tried looking it up this morning, but can't find anything in the news about it. There had to be at least 10 squad cars that we could see as we drove past on Fuller, all the way up to Diamond. They even had a car blocking Benjamin & Fuller... any news?

random! i live just off fulton got home from being out all day around 9:30 p.m. and didn't see/hear anything! wonder what it was?!

One of my friends suggested it may have been gang related, and some media outlets/cities don't report on major gang activity since many gangs regard making news as a badge of honor. Its about the only plausible explanation I've heard so far.
