Good/fair auto repair places

Can anyone point me in the direction of a good auto repair joint? Preferably one that specializes in at least European cars, but even better would be Audi.

Also, please post any good, or bad experiences you've had with shops in the area. Its tough for us transplants to find a shop thats trustworthy.

Best experience I've had is with a small repair shop downtown called Jim Beam's across from the SunTrust building on McBee. Very honest and friendly service.

There is also a specifically Audi/VW/Porche place on State Park road I've heard good things about, but not had a need for personally. It's called Protech Motorsports.

I highly recommend All Car in Simpsonville. It's a one man shop, but he will treat you right and will even come to you. He knows his stuff. Phone number is in the Simpsonville listings. His name is Paul.

I take my Volvo to Stephens Auto off of Hwy 253 near Cherrydale. Rick (the owner) does an excellent job at a very fair price and is a pleasure to work with. And, he even washes your car before you pick it up.
