I am a little surprised at the lack of commentary on Perez's victory given the amount of animus in some of the previous postings.

Not much to say. Perez is a strong candidate and is using everything in his arsenal, including smear campaigns and getting challengers thrown out on legal technicalities, to keep his worthless hide in office....
