Dream big: City officials excited by sports park proposal

Big League Dreams could become a reality for Texarkana if city officials can find a way to bring it to life.

Representatives with Big League Dreams, the largest private operator of sports parks in America, were at the Texas-side City Council meeting Monday night to sell the idea to officials.

Pat Kight, a consultant with BLD, first learned of the company when he was a mayor and city council member in Redding, Calif., and the city was looking to build a sports park.
