Yes! Well, at least they're trying to. They want to focus on their Shreveport and New Orleans properties. The Louisiana Gaming Control Board must vote for the sale, however.

Not at all. Horseshoe has always done between $20 and $30 million/month so they're not losing any ground. Harrah's New Orleans and L'Auberge Du Lac both are definitely gaining ground that fast. And to think, just a few years ago people were doubting whether or not a land-based in New Orleans would even survive.

Ha, yea I remember that pretty clearly. I never doubted the idea at all, and now, Harrah's has been saying that the 26 story hotel that is nearly completed next to the casino won't be anywhere near able to hold all of the people who come to the casino from out of town regularly.
