Google Maps Update

Now you can see all the major cities around the world in satalittle imaging.

Paris is amazing from the sky as is Tokyo.

Do any of yall know if they are going to put all cities (smaller cities) on there. I know you can see them, but you can't zoom in all the way. I would love to see Willacoochee.

You might ant to try Google Earth, which I mentioned in another thread here. They allow you to zoom in on any city. It may not be a high-res pic of every city, but it is a pic of the city still.

It's nice but it uses the same exact images as google Earth.

You can zoom in on where ever you want, the problem is that the resolution is not fine enough to see any detail. They seem to be adding in the higher resolution areas haphazardly. There are areas in SC that are high resolution that don't even have a large city in them.

Its just a slow process. Give it enough time and I'm sure they will have the entire USA in high resolution. Probably the world too.

Tokyo is very detailed in map view and looks neat from satellite view.
