First look at the redesigned planned Crown Events Center in downtown Fayetteville. The main hall will seat 3,000 with another room that seats 200. The facility will host meetings, plays, community events and eventually Broadway performances. It will seat more than DPAC in Durham and match the seating capacity of the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts in Greensboro. The seating arrangement will be a little different from a typical performing arts theater with retractable chairs in the main hall.

The facility had been redesigned to be built within budget. The rooftop terrace was removed. But still an impressive front facade. This is a game changer for downtown Fayetteville and will surely attract more restaurants and development.
