BB&T is consolidating all their 500 Whiteville NC employees in a new office building downtown shortly after announcing the same thing in downtown Wilson.  It is great they are supporting the small cities across the state.

Great story from Business NC on the recent developments and companies in Greenville.

Thanks for sharing!  I was just in Greenville yesterday (made it to 3 additional counties!) and thought Uptown definitely has a lot of potential.  It's already pretty lively despite its small size, but new development is slowly coming back with some apartment complexes along Reade Circle.

as an ECU undergrad alum there has been a lot of changes in Gville and it has more apartments than any city its size.  It is crazy.
