Pew survey finds sharp erosion of center as partisan animosity has ‘gotten more

In an interesting study about political polarization, I found an odd statistic that might be of interest to UP folks:

 

"Eight in 10 consistent liberals said they would prefer living in a community with smaller houses closer together where they can walk to schools, restaurants and stores. Just one in five consistent conservatives said the same."

 

I was a little surprised to find such a partisan skew on housing choice.
