well even if they built some in the burbs, I definitely would go to the original over them anyday. The atmosphere and the area are wayyy better than the burbs could dream of being!

Just found out the MetroJackson Chamber of Commerce (Mississippi) is sending a delegation up to Richmond in September to meet with city government and business leaders about downtown revitalization and waterfront development. They're meeting on Monday, September 26th at the Troutman Sanders offices in Riverside. I think it's cool that other cities are now coming to Richmond looking for ideas, instead of the other way around. B)

Richmond's Porsche Dealership in Midlothian is now selling the Lotus Elise Sports Car.....The dealership will be expanded to accomodate the Lotus vehicles. Without even having a sign up, lotus had already sold 6 cars in 3 days.

Yeah, I love driving by there and looking at those. I didn't even know Lotus existed until I saw one in England last year; now they're one of my favorite cars.

Good news, everyone! A friend of mine has a job interview today with Bottoms Up; word from them is that they plan on re-opening within the next few weeks!

Unfortunately, Beckham won't be there; he's not due in LA until the 13th. Still, it should be a great game, with likely appearances by Landon Donovan and Cobi Jones.
