The preliminary traffic numbers are out for all airports across the world as reported by ACI (Airports Council International) who typically have the most comprehensive data.
Charlotte is now 13th businest airport in the word for aircraft movements! (total take-offs and landings of commercial and non-commercial planes) Charlotte also gained the greatest % in this category of all airports in the top 30.
Charlotte almost broke into the top 30 in the world for total passengers. We were somewhere in the 27M-28M range, with 30th place having about 29M passengers per year. Last year, Charlotte had less than 24M, so we are quickly moving up in this category as well.

the announcement was going to be made Monday at 4:00 at the convention center.
I only thought this interesting because a time and place where mentioned.
you are right statman. I heard that time and place on 11 pm local CBS news last night. I would have to say the deal is almost certain.

i'm thinking i will be able to get in later at a much better price....should be interesting!
I don't think they will reduce the prices in the future. That would be unfair to all people who bought it initially. Only thing they can do is cancel the project, if they can't sell enough units. All the people looking for condos at reasonably good prices might want to look at FAP and Avenue.

I guess that I'm really confused. I didn't realize there were two seperate projects: The Avenue vs. the Vue. What are the physical addresses for the two?
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
they are seperate projects located on the same street 5th street.

Did anybody do any comparison between Vue, FAP (fifth and polar) and Avenue?
I think the vue prices are little bit more expensive then the other two. I believe The Vue is starting at $350/sq ft. At fifth and poplar it is more like $300/sq. ft. I am not quite sure about Price per sq ft at avenue but the 1-bedroom units are starting from $170,000.
Positives about Vue: Very nice looking building. Tennis court (My personal preference)
Positives about fap: It is sitting on 3 acres land with 1.5-acre courtyard. I think the 1.5-acre courtyard is bigger than avenue and Vue combined.
Positives about avenue: better location than the other two. The builder is supposed to be good.
what do you guys think?

Another development in the same area called 1st row. This is going to be 80+ condo/Townhomes project. It is located next to the fraizer park. When I checked last time, they leveled the lot and looks like they are ready to start the construction.
