[Tucson Downtown/Rio Nuevo Thread]

I've heard a lot about Tucson but I haven't been to that area of Arizona yet. I'd like to visit sometime but I'm not sure if I could live there. I think the long summers there might be a little too much for me.

Nah, its not that bad. I'll take a Phx summer over a Minneapolis winter any day!

Just read the The Eclipse on Hennepin just passed the environmental assesment and now is going to try to get city approval.  This will be a great adition to the city sky line, coming in over the river.

Hope so...Shamrocks other projects (212 lofts, Rock Island...) blow when it comes to design. Then again, I heard the new design was drawn after the original was turned down by the city.

According to TCS, a major hotel will be announced as the flagship for Ivy Tower quite soon. Possibly, Westin.
