Former Fran’s space is set for a bar and office space. I noticed pallets of brick have been delivered for a likely facelift.

Interesting. Eastside bar are the only details? I wonder what is stalling the concept at the Old Southern Grist. I'm acquainted with the architect-- we would together sometimes-- maybe I'll reach out.

Got it-- I saw on LinkedIn (I work in the industry) that CA South will be making a big East Nashville announcement soon. I'm very excited! I think this area is prime for development and I like the work they do. I've always had a lot of respect for Meg at CA South-- she's awesome!

According to this permit,  ICON Entertainment is working on a new concept in the old Southern Grist spot on Porter Rd.

They have an apparel shop. I REALLY hope they don't put their apparel shop here. This needs to be something that benefits the neighborhood.
