I'm surprised that we haven't heard anything about River North as a potential location.  I know Oracle owns a lot of it now, but between them and Monroe Investments it seems that something could be worked out there if there was mutual interest.  Would be great to have a pro sports stadium as a centerpiece to that entirely new district, which should be almost fully built-out within a decade.

And yes, to echo what Smeags said, North Nashville feels like they're just grasping at straws.  Makes you wonder about the legitimacy of this whole thing.

Yes, I'm very anxious to see what they're planning there.  I'm guessing it'll be another year or two before we hear much on that.

It's actually listed in the docs as 359 feet.  Really great for that area.

I sure hope this gets approved.  This and Albion will provide a really nice height bump to that area from all the 14/15 story towers along Division.

Yes, just saw the LG Broadway/Division tower on there.  And I think I saw the other surprise as well.  Height increase from 20 stories to 30 stories on a certain project.

I lived in One Metrocenter for almost 2 years when it was first built back in 2016/2017.  Loved it because the rents were quite cheap for being that close to downtown and the quick interstate access meant we could be anywhere in the general downtown area in 10 minutes or less on the weekends.  Definitely not much walkability, but still nice being so close to city.

Yes, we will see the roundabout as hopefully 1 of 3 significantly tall new highrise clusters over the next few years.  The other 2 being Church St with Yards and Tony G's towers and also the Peabody/KVB developments (Tishman, Centrum, and 2nd & Peabody, along with continuation of Rolling Mill Hill).  Of course that doesn't include the Broadway car lots or anything on the east bank; just stuff in SoBro/traditional CBD.  Insane to really envision it all.

It would be freakin' astounding if there was a new $2 billion stadium on the east bank completely finished 4 years from right now.  Kinda hard to see that happening, but where there's a will there's a way.  I wonder if there's been any closed-door discussions with FIFA about whether having a new stadium would make us pretty close to a lock for the WC.  That seems to be the main thing driving the aggressive timeline.

Hard to say but I sure hope that they're in talks to get the White Castle property.  It's not officially in their current plans, but I'm sure they would like to have it.

Yep, but I'd rather see this (future) shot zoomed out a bit and panned south to capture all the KVB and Gulch action, along with the Reed and Beaman lots and all the other Midtown/Church St development.  This shot in a decade will be almost totally unrecognizable with most of the familiar landmarks downtown blocked out completely.

It'll definitely still happen eventually.  Way too valuable. I'm kinda glad nothing had fully started on this yet because everything will almost certainly be revised upward in scope now.  The amount of prime land that Liff has is incredible and it's a bit shocking that it's been totally quiet as long as it has been.  Could easily see 8-10 towers on all of this once it's fully realized.

Yeah, maybe they'll use this as a springboard out of their usual low to mid-rise projects.  One would think they'll have to go at least 30 floors (prob more like 40) here for it to make sense.  And most of what they've done does look halfway decent, so there's that.

I just looked at Alamo Manhattan's portfolio.  Definitely not projects to the scale of what you'd expect at this location, especially considering the price the Carrell family is certainly asking for it.

If you drive into the city on I-40 from the Charlotte Pike interchange, you can see the pretty dramatic effect of Amazon 2 at only around 450 ft.  A building with a roof height of 750 ft basically right next door to that will be VERY impressive.

This has taken soooo long but I'm glad to finally see most of the main pieces falling into place now.  Definitely less-than-impressed with Cambridge at developing (now just selling) this whole project.  But it should still be a great area when it's finally completed.

Any word on when we'll see Marketstreet's Mixed-Use project with the stadium begin?  I'm guessing as soon as the stadium is finished.  Can anyone confirm?

Maybe it's a negotiating tactic, start with 22 floors and 'compormise' at 19 floors (or something like that).  Either way, I think this is all inevitable.  The neighbors can fight it if they want, but I think more towers like this are coming to GH whether they like or not.  It's going to become a mini-Buckhead over the next 10-20 years.

If what the head guy (Cary Mack, I think is his name) said is true, I would sure think that we'll get an announcement of the FULLY FINALIZED (seriously, final this time! Not kidding.  No more changes; we're done) plans in the Spring or Summer of this year.  Last we heard from them, they wanted to be under construction on almost everything by early next year at the latest and be fully built out by 2025 or so.  Hopefully that timeline is still the plan.

Seems odd that you would get a building specifically approved for 32 floors a couple years ago and then come back in an even hotter Nashville environment and shorten it by 5 floors.  Oh well.  Still can't wait to see this one get going.  Let all the South-of-KVB craziness commence!!  I'm reeeeaaalllllyyyyy hoping we get an announcement with renderings of the Tishman project this year.
