Sad watching this happen in the distance surrounded by all the construction noise on this end of town. I’m not necessarily sad about this particular building, but I do wish we hadn’t erased all the old character from uptown. Yes we still have some, but it doesn’t feel the same as other cities that have tried to preserve their old buildings or at least the facades.
Is 426 N tryon getting demolished?

How visible do we think that these towers will be from Bank of America Stadium?

Technically Charlotte became #2 by assets of banks headquartered there in the Fall of 2018 again (due to Wells asset cap). This new bank HQ will make it hard for San Fran to jump to #2 again for a while though.

I'm Wondering if This deal goes through will Charlotte take the #2 spot for biggest US Banking City's from San Francisco

the first, first design? Cuz according to the people I've talked to that was a overly expensive, pipe dream of a design, with inefficient floorplans that few users would sign on to.
Do you have a picture of the Rendering, you guys have me curious on what it looked like

If they don't VE the glass, I agree 100%. Right now the design of DFA, despite being shorter than I imagined is pretty awesome.
Right now i really like the renderings of the grand bohemian so guess that'd be my favorite

They own 6 acres of undeveloped land. There’s definitely plans, nobody is privy to them however. Just little leaks of scope here and there.

They're just starting to add another row of glass this afternoon. Also looks like they're still at least a day or two away from completing the 28th floor. The previous floor was completed 12 days ago so they've definitely fallen off pace with the new alignment. **IF** that slower pace continues, hard to see this topping out before mid-September at earliest.
Why So Slow?

I am looking at a plan approved by the city and it looks like the last office floor is 33 then there are 2 mechanical floors then the pyramid starts. That sort of jives when I talk to a contractor and he said 35 floors. But from the roof of that top floor 33 it is 118.5 feet to the tip of the pyramid. anywho I am getting 636 tall give or take a foot or two. This pyramid is a lot taller than most of us think.
I KNEW the pyramid was gonna be tall!

Anyone know how tall the pyramid at the top will be?

So when is this building getting slimmer at the top, it seems that it keeps getting taller without the narrow part at the top

Just curious does anyone know what kind of impact this will have on the view of the skyline while your in the Stadium?
