I’d love to turn it into something but it’s only 425 sq feet heated plus 325 outdoor covered area. I guess you could add on a modern kitchen building emoji848.png. Damn I wish I was rich.

The wine shop/bar at the McGill rose garden is very similar in scale and has done a pretty great job, granted they have the garden in their back yard, but still...

The problem is with us, the voters, and the city manager! As voters we should be demanding that management be revamped at CATS.

They've been screwing up projects for decades now, yet as soon as we hear "big-bang" we collectively glaze over and go "aww!!! that would be awesome" and forget that while the vision is good we need people that can actually manage other people and processes, we need real executives.

Edit: note, the goal is to get better people to execute the project, not to cancel or change the project itself!

unfortunately we are a "low bid" state, so they (the city) are forced to take the cheapest bidder even if they have no experience with these types of transit/transportation projects (don't know if that is the case with Johnson Brothers here) so often time the city is not able to select a team that may be best suited for the job. This is contractor error, not CATS and not sure they could have done anything differently...

    Some recent news:

The students housed in Moore Hall are being moved out early, transferring them to rooms across campus that have been made empty during the semester. It's about time to say your last goodbyes if you feel the need to do so.

Here are some pictures of them tearing down the ugly old PATS building though. It's a shame we're losing the boiler tower though.

oh man.... i lived on campus freshman year across from the boiler tower in Sycamore Hall. It was my landmark for giving directions on campus...

    What's is BofA's Policeland?

The land at 7th and Tryon with the current Central Division Police Headquarters. That land is a part of the property assembled for the 7th and Tryon redevelopment around the new library. Where the Christmas Village is popped up right now actually.
