You know.. when the put it up, they probably weren't even thinking about the "Spartanburg Skyline." Hopefully with all this momentum that will now be an option. Until then there's always photoshop

I noticed this a few weeks ago, but I don't believe that anybody has mentioned it on here. This would be a lot of new homes/etc down on Southport Road. I'll be interested to see if this goes through.

I don't mind Starbucks, but I very much prefer The Coffee Bar. What other reason for locating literally a block away than to try to take over the downtown market?
I think the location probably has more to do with the AC Hotel than the Coffee Bar.

The Franklin School should be a great thing. I had no idea this was happening and I'm ecstatic. Being a teacher, I've thought for years that something like this should exist.. clearly others feel the same way!

The former Magnolia Street Pub (and 2 adjacent buildings) have finally been listed for sale , over a decade after the music venue closed. The building is in surprisingly good condition. It certainly has a lot of potential; although I could see parking being a challenge. I hope it's purchased and reactivated soon.
Maybe they can get Albert Hill to play there again lol

roads-scholar: Is there any chance that it would go?

Does anyone know if they're going to build any larger houses in the Drayton Community? Or do you think it'll just be the 3 bed/2.5 bath?
