My largest position is Tezos (pays a cool 6% just to hold it) and I own a bit of Chainlink. Love it’s technology and it will be critical to the crypto infrastructure going into the future.
Bitcoin will always be the digital gold position for me (along with holding real gold and silver)I also took a speculative position in Ripple and would like to add to Ethereum.
for what it’s worth I added to all the above mentioned positions the last three days, including Bitcoin this morning.
I personally believe life transforming wealth will be generated with Blockchain moving into the future. It will also displace more workers as you will be able to do a lot of things with Blockchain tech, that now requires a human. In the future EVERYTHING will be tokenized: real estate, the markets, etc
imagine buying Microsoft in the early 90’s, that’s what buying crypto is like. We are talking 1000x returns. I personally know people who invested a thousand bucks a few years back into some Alt coins, who made literally hundreds of thousands in mere months. We are in the second inning of a nine inning ball game. So I am begging those I care about to put something into it. Even if it’s a little.

How/where do you buy this?

So if I’m not in a position to securely store gold bars in my house and (cash) savers are apparently toast, what is my best safe investment? Paper gold/silver?

Is this the Meineke or the vacant land next to it?

Residential project - more info here. The site includes the church property as well as the 2 vacant lots to the west along Parkwood. In addition to apartments in the church building, there will be 3 duplexes according to the most recent site plan. Is there some activity at the site?
Thanks. Yes - lots of activity. Windows being removed from the church, dumpsters on site. Appears to be full steam ahead.

Anyone know what is happening at the old church at Parkwood and Allen St? Looks like a renovation and preservation which would be great.

any idea how long there lease will be? Maybe they just needed something quick to move into and will begin building a tower in 3 years and move in 5 years from now
Option to buy...so it may not be a lease at all. I suspect when the merger clears later this year, they exercise this option in 4Q.

well there you go. I guess not all predictions are always right, but this was the easiest "space now" move by Suntrust, and they get a turn key iconic tower.
nice scoop by Ashley.
I told y’all this months ago!

Was this once rumored as a potential Publix site? Any chance...

There is a second 2 story structure proposed they are calling the “Carriage House” (not the existing one, but a new build) which will front Belvedere and “may” have retail on bottom like a bakery or cafe and office up top. Or it could also be all office. Sounds like they would like the retail component, but wanted to gauge neighbor interest. There seemed to be interest in the room at the neighborhood meeting, but I could see immediate neighbors making a stink over it.

Wait, I realized something. Atlanta has top tier universities while Charlotte has... Davidson? UNC Charlotte? Hmmmm?
Pretty sure Davidson is ranked higher compared to its peers than anything ATL has. Just sayin.

Not sure if it has been mentioned, but the Swimmer building at the corner of Providence and Altondale is set for redevelopment…rezoning imminent by Roy Goode. Seems it will be mixed use with high end condos, office, and a couple retail tenants. Seems the Taipei Express may survive as the Thirsty Beaver of Eastover.
