(FYI, TPAC got to about one month out from opening when it dawned on them they had no box office. They converted a janitorial closet to use as a box office and had to deal with that until the renovations of 2002! It is still used for some things, but Jackson Hall and Polk Theatre each have their own box office/will call in their lobbies.)
ESa worked very closely with theater design and acoustical design consultants to make sure this will be truly a world-class performing arts center. Acoustics and functionality were the highest priorities; the aesthetics are just the cherry on top!
