Damn. Why so far away. Is that when construction starts or when it gets finished?
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Construction should begin 2007.
It is a great day for Richmond! I'm excited about this. Wish it would've went a bit taller, but... eh, gotta take what you can get, I guess.

Has anyone access to renderings of the new terminal building at RIC?
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Indeed. I'd love to see them.

I'm around too but I have trash to pick up and many beers to drink. Doubt I'll be online much.

We welcome all Richmond forumers regardless of where else they may post. UrbanPlanet is not in competition with other websites and we wish them all well.
And we at BR wish UrbanPlanet the same. I don't think there's one city that doesn't have a bunch of forums running around the web. It's good PR for the city when people discuss online (for the world to see) what's going on in Richmond.
I'll certainly be sure to drop in from time to time.

I'm 26, a pisces and like long walks on the beach... well, not really. Anyways, yeah, I'm 26 (and a pisces). I'm originally from Brooklyn, NYC. I resided there until I was 11. We then moved to Philadelphia where I lived there till 1997 when I moved away to the Pittsburgh area. I spent 3 1/2 miserable years in Pittsburgh and then I moved back to Philadelphia. I married a Richmonder in 2003, she moved up to Philly and we have recently moved to Richmond end of last year.
I'm a licensed account manager for a small commercial insurance agency. I'm also owner of Buildrichmond.com where we aim to discuss what's going on in Richmond (politically, musically, etc. etc.).

From 1990-2000, the Shockoe Bottom area's population increased by 368%.

That's awesome about Papa Ningo!
I love that place.
The wife and I go there fairly often being that Dominican food is fairly similar to Puerto Rican food and Richmond has yet to have a decent restaurant offering Puerto Rican cuisine.
