Men's departments have gotten terrible everywhere, or have become totally non-existent. For all the great improvements at Birkdale, there is now literally only one single store there that carries Men's clothing: Jos A Bank. Even the American Eagle there doesn't stock men's clothing.

The men’s departments in Chicago LA Miami are amazing. New York City Tower store has a separate men’s department just across the street that is three levels. They sell just about every brand from Balenciaga Dior, Gucci , Tom  Brown  Canali  Saint Laurent Dsquared  Amiri etc While also having more contemporary brands. Their mens shoe  department is absolutely amazing competing with saks in terms of what they offer. In the main portion of the store, there’s seven floors, 10 bars and restaurants etc. the place is over 320,000 ft.².

Charlotte is a very small retail market so it’s not going to  have all the bells and whistles that the bigger markets have.  Columbus, Ohio Nordstrom is the same as Charlotte is just one of the basic Nordstroms.  The Neiman’s in Charlotte is basic, too compared to the bigger markets.

  3. Some News: United Colors of Benneton has closed (kind of dissapointed, was hoping they would expand and add the men's line).  Also, SouthPark Optical has moved to the Belk wing from the Macy's wing, and Avalon Nail salon is also following them.  There's definitely more foot traffic in the Belk wing so I don't blame them.  With those stores relocating, that leaves only Hallmark as a permanent store on that side corner of the mall.  If they relocate Hallmark and close the non-permanent stores next to it, that would be a perfect place for H&M or Zara :)

Well consider your zara dreams canceled there not expanding in US anymore according to this article
