It has been posted multiple times recently, but for those still wondering, the CSX crossing changes are illustrated beginning on page 8 of this pdf:
http://www.mumpo.org.../Rail/CRISP.pdf
Not all projects listed in the pdf are funded, but the project detailed from page 8-18 is funded. You can see in detail out the Lynx Red line/North Corridor will come in there and go over the CSX tracks.
That's very cool. I always like aerial photographs, maps and illustrations (almost as much as I like telling one-liners [inside joke; don't worry about it]).

Grandfather Mtn yesterday afternoon around 4pm. A few more clouds than I'd like, and the outside temp on the gauge in the car read 66 degrees. This was taken from an overlook off the Blue Ridge Parkway just south of the US221 intersection near Linville.
Very nice. I still haven't gone there yet.

I went by there (on accident) and there were a lot of cars in the parking lot. It looks pretty nice, but it's not the easiest place to get to (as you all know).

I was kind of excited about this project like 2 or 3 years ago.

If only Charlotte had more places like the Latta Arcade.

That's pretty cool. We used to have to use these things called...What were they called?...Oh yeah books.

That was a great upset too. Even Clemson's win over UNC was pretty impressive. I'm not sure why I get so much satisfaction out of UNC losing.
The Clemson one was pretty good too. And I don't even like Clemson.

Just to revive this thread... how about USC's upset of #1 Kentucky? Obviously I'm pretty excited about it and the very positive implications for my team. UK is a great team though, and probably bound for the Final Four.
Yeah, I heard about that. Good job. I also liked College of Charleston's upset of UNC (that was a long time ago, but I can't get over it).

Nice shot!
I reallllly hope they do some kind of lighting scheme on the sign at the top to give it some color, because not only is it plain, it's also barely noticeable from the street. I wish uptown's skyline could have some more pizazz at night. Lighting this up with the nascar theme colors would really stand out.
I not sure if I want that or not, though. I kind of like the subtleness of it right now. Maybe if it didn't say NASCAR then I would like it. We'll see what happens though. Maybe they'll give it some lighting scheme and I'll end up liking it; I'll never know unless I see it.

Maybe there will be better plans in the future.

Wow it seems like Baton Rouge has a lot of new buildings. I never realized that. I just knew they had a tall capitol building.
