Also, don't forget with these prices you don't get a deeded parking space. A space uptown goes for generally 20k. Anyone who is looking to buy should strongly consider The Avenue as you have owners looking to offload "bad investments."

Any heard any updates on Catalyst's refinancing? The 60 day extension is up in 30 days, but I believe they'll use their second 60 day extension.
I have heard they are going to make them apartments. Look for something official soon.

I was looking at units at Fifth and Poplar today with a friend when we were looking at a unit facing the Vue and went out on the balcony; it seemed like every floor of the Vue was flooded with workers. I don't remember the last time I saw so many workers in one place.
I will also note that those balconies over Poplar do feel extremely close from the perspective of the residents on that side of Fifth and Poplar.
Correct, you The Vue is right there if you are on your balcony. The property value of those units facing The Vue have been hurt.

With Wachovia layoffs coming soon and nobody able to get a loan (easily) they are having a terrible time selling units.

I have also heard they were looking for more funds. IMO the units there are too expensive for the current market. Maybe all of this will lower the costs of the condos.
