  1. Hey fellas. A brief little update. The Airport access road construction is in full swing and is coming along nicely. The granite street bridge and new highway exit will be complete in June...so they say. The whole project will be done by November. The Catholic Medical Center/New England Heart Association expansion is complete and looks real nice. The Elliot Hospital will be making a MASSIVE expansion right on the Merrimack river downtown where the old jacpac plant was. The project will include a new apartment complex and retail. It will be the largest development project in Manchester since the construction of the Mall of New Hampshire. And the good thing is it is getting support from EVERYBODY!

Thats all for now folks. seeya.

Oh man...its been one day less than a year since I last updated this thread...

  2. A couple of things. The downtown highway project and granite street widening is coming along very well...except for the traffic. And also Fishercats Ballpark has been unfortunately renamed, ready for it?....MerchantsAuto.com Stadium. How dumb is that? Very dumb! Oh yeah and the Hilton Gardens is complete.

  3. WBZ Channel 4, the CBS Boston affiliate, is opening a bureau in the Center of NH Trade Ctr in downtown Manchester. The station is hyping the new bureau, and a similar one in Worcester, in an effort to boost its lagging ratings. Remarkably, WMUR is the only network affiliate in all of Southern NH. Residents rely largely on the Boston and Portland stations for news.

So we are getting a new TV station?

  4. Hello everyone,

I'm sure you've heard this question before, but...

I'm moving to Boston this summer or early fall, to do grad work at Harvard. I will be mostly living off student loans. I don't want to have a car, and I know most of Boston is accessable through transit. I know that Harvard is on the Red line. I know that Cambridge can be expensive. So...

Where should I live? (I know this question is outlawed in the rules and regs, but I thought I would ask it anyways :whistling: ) I'd like to live somewhere less expensive than Cambridge, but with one transfer or fewer using bus/subway/commuter rail.

    Any suggestions?
