  1. I saw a few of the units. The concrete on the ceiling looks like plywood or something. Maybe sealing it would have looked a little nicer. The units were nice though. I think the lobby looks awesome.

  2. Ok people i just got back from the Vue sales center, i went to the Vue sales center almost exactly six months ago as well. There were different people working in there this time as well. Here is the story the units are exactly the same price as there were 6 months ago, and there are exactly the same amount of units available today as there were six months ago... shocking, when the lady gave me the sales pitch i wanted to confront her with the fact that they havent sold a unit in 6 months but its all lies she was telling me. There are conveniently units avialable still with "the 40 units" that are left on all sides and all levels of the building. Parking spots are still 30K the 586sq ft studio starts at 349K and the 2b/2b start at 529K.

I was there today too, maybe you saw me.

  3. There shouldn't be a difference unless they have a limit on the percentage of investor owned units. You will pay a higher interest rate on your mortgage as an investment or second home though.

  4. I'm just saying that the kind of people you meet in the mall are different than those that you run into downtown. It's a generalization, but it is noticeble if you contrast the experiences you have talking with people downtown to striking up conversation with someone in a store in the mall.

I have to respectfully disagree.I live downtown but shop at the mall. Where else are we supposed to shop? When the same kind of stores open up downtown I will stop shopping at the mall and probably so will others.

  5. those aren't actually functional..lol. The association has to take care of other things before they have them removed. The building is connected to the chilled water system.

  6. I used to work for a pretty popular shoe store and the district and regional managers were asking around to see how profitable a store downtown would be. People are interested.

  7. yeah I really wish they would have done something to the back. I think the windows might get changed in the near future. They are still working on the bar on the corner where the sales office used to be but have not given us any details lately.

  8. That is possible if the new player looked like Shaquille O'Neal or was known for winning the NCAA championship (Jordan) or was a full grown man-child at 18 (LeBron James). These don't spring up everywhere.

Heck, how many people flocked to see the NCAA National Player of the Year (Jameer Nelson)? He is still underutilized by the Magic. The guy is a much better team player than Steve Francis could ever aspire to be, yet remained on the bench most of the time. I guess it's better to keep higher paid players on the court instead of winning games.

oh wait I guess I was wrong, I was informed by some friends of mine that were at yesterdays game that there were flags everywhere. I think it's so funny.

  9. The Magic front office stated that their website traffic went from 50k hits to 100k the day the news about Arroyo went public. That doesn't necessarily translate into direct sales, but I'm sure it has helped. There have probably been more Puerto Ricans at the couple of games that he has played than there has been Turkish people have come in the few years of Turkoglu being with the Magic.

Yes I guess there is some sense of pride for some but I don't really care. Could it have been possible thought that maybe it was just curiosity for a new player? Hispanic or not. I don't know you probably know more than I do, I don't really follow basketball.

  10. they've actually done a huge renovation. Looks good but don't really agree with the mix of styles they have. They have super modern furniture in the lobby but the carpets are floral and there are huge ornate chandeliers. It is a huge improvement over the adams mark though, it was way overdue.
