  1. I suppose everyone must be on vacation today. Traffic is rather slow.

I have been forgetting to mention that the former Maureen's location on Main Street (next to Marble Slab Creamery and Sharkey's Pub) finally has a new roof overhead. Is this where Rosalinda's downtown cafe is supposed to go? I have forgotten what was said before.

Another interesting bit of info is that there is a very nice billboard advertisement next to the Chuch Street bridge (seen going south) for the awesome Acadia development near Powdersville. Shown is a gigantic full-color rendering of The Village. Beautiful! :shades:

Rosalinda's downtown would be wonderful. i love the Pleasantburg location. it is one of the best, most interesting restaurants around. :D

  2. port city java is moving in to west end fieldhouse for sure!

time will, as always, tell the story. i, for one, drink way too much coffee as it is. ;)

i had a lead on new office space in the West End (hence the counting of coffee shops) but that fell through - i'm back looking in the 'coffee' street area. i'll keep up my CU habit, it seems.

  3. i didn't see this addressed yet, but the new Starbucks at RiverPlace is getting ready to open. so it would seem odd for PCJ to add at the stadium with West End Coffee co. building a new building on the west side of the stadium - and are very committed to the space. i understand there will be retail coffee there.

i most like the sign for the rental office space above the west end coffee co. that offers free coffee with the lease!

we drink a lot of coffee (and coffee related drinks) in g-vegas but there just aren't that many people working/living at the stadium to support five coffee shops within 5 blocks (starbucks, west end, bistro, spill the beans, PCJ?).
