In the NBJ today swerdling and associates are working on a hotel deal with a 350 room downtown location. Could the old westin site be what is back on the drawingboard again. That area around 3rd and 4th street would be prefect for a large hotel. But, any surface lot around the music city center would do. One of the biggest eyesores is the FBC parking lot, if we open the MCC without addressing that area it will be like a cold entrance to the center, with blank walls and huge surface lots as the welcome mat for visitors.
