01-14-2009 TN: Burger Up set for 12th & Paris
- 25 residential units, three small offices and four retail spaces.
- The project, named 12th & Paris, replaces Southern Market and a car lot.
- mix of flats and townhomes ranging from $174, 500 to $289, 500.
- Burger Up, a new venture by Frothy Monkey owner Miranda Whitcomb-Pontes, will become the project's anchor tenant. The eatery, which will feature a variety of burgers, from veggie, turkey and vegan, along with a full bar, will accommodate 75 people indoors and offer patio seating.
- She anticipates opening the restaurant in February 2010.
- There are also negotiations to lease space to a host of other businesses including an art gallery, counseling office, accounting office, photography gallery and an architecture office, as well as two additional retail tenants.
