• 09-22-08 NBJ: 'Green roof' retail center coming to Gulch
  • A $1.1 million development coming to the Gulch will give Nashville its first retail center with a sustainable green roof.
  • The building will offer 7,000 square feet of space for four tenants opening in summer 2009, says architect Steve Powell of Powell Design Studio PLLC.
  • The site for the two-story center is at 1000 Division Street, currently a Citgo gas station.
  • Developer NextGen Properties says the project will be built to national environmental building standards and is working with LEED consultant Wilmont Inc.
